What is an In-feed video ad?

In-feed ads are native ads that appear in your feeds. You can either let Google suggest an in-feed ad style for you or manually create your own style. # in-feed #nativeads. In-feed is a format that you place inside your feed to help monetize your site and provide a better user experience to your visitors. Unlike In-stream YouTube ads, which run before or during another video, In-feed video ads are integrated into the YouTube feed. They place your advertising products and services alongside other YouTube content, such as in search results or on the YouTube homepage.

In-feed video ads examples in 3 placements

YouTube search results - These ads are displayed at the top of the search results when users look for specific content on YouTube, as they are relevant to the user’s search query.

YouTube Home feed - In-feed video ads also appear on the YouTube homepage, which is the first page viewers see when they visit the platform. The ads appearing on this place are tailored according to the user’s interests, interaction, and viewing history on the platform.

YouTube What’s Next - Your advertisement can be displayed in the sidebar of the YouTube video watch page. This location will allow your ad to be in-view for a great deal of time.
